Buy Local! Finding LIFE produce in 2010

CSA.........Retail.........Market.......Restaurants

CSA- The best way to connect to our farm and receive the greatest variety of produce is through our Community Supported Agriculture program. Many of the fruits, vegetables and other edibles we offer are only grown for our our CSA members. Join us for the tastiest season ever!

While my garden is ending for the season,   yours seems to be growing strong and I am thankful. - Kristi

Markets-You will find our produce at two markets. Bobbi runs the Saturday market in Bloomington where you will occasionally also see many other faces including Art, Gwen, Laura, Nelson, Rett, Eliza, Zosia, Oliver and Helena.  Jeff runs the Traders' Point Market in Zionsville on Friday night where on occasion you will see Melissa and Sylvan. Jeff also sells Melissa's delicious One Sky Farm locally blended teas at this market. Both of these markets are wonderful and you will find us there most weeks.

Retail-We also offer produce through retailers. Our main partner is Bloomingfoods Cooperative in Bloomington. We love Bloomingfoods! They are a wonderful supporter of local and organic food. Our custom growing program with them is going into its third year and we expect the best one yet. Our produce is mostly in the East (Jerome-Produce Manager) and Near West (Ruth-Produce Manager) stores and occasionally in the orignal downtown location. The produce section is the main place but you will also find our tasty produce in their fine delis.  Look for the LIFE label and ask for us by name!

We also offer our line of fresh herbs  and other produce to Whole Foods Market in Indianapolis and Carmel. While Whole Foods is a large, national store the produce managers (Todd and John) at the stores have worked hard to ensure that they are able to work with us.  For that we give these gentlemen a great deal of credit!  So you can find some local in the produce section!

Restaurants-While we don't send a lot of our food to restaurants, we have filled some requests from Dave Tallent, owner of Restaurant Tallent, for some of his special dishes. Our produce has also been found in multiple dishes at the Traders' Point Cafe. Do know that there are definately great restaurants in the area that buy local produce from our fellow farmers and you should find them and support them! Take a look at the Local Growers Guild web site to find a listing.
