my CSA produces good soil, good food, and a good relationship with its

CSA or “Community Supported Agriculture” helps strengthen the bond between local farms and the community of people they feed. The idea is simple: community members provide money in very early spring to support farm operations for the growing season. In exchange, they receive a piece or “share” of the harvest throughout the growing season, often presented as a weekly box or basket of produce which changes throughout the season to reflect the changing crop varieties on the farm, as well as any major crop successes or failures. Many CSAs also invite their members to come visit the farm and even to pitch in. At LIFE we offer Farm Days with tours and time to meet the crew and other members. If participating in the growing sparks your interest, we schedule days as desired. Being part of our farm is about food and fun!
What options does LIFE offer? For more details about the variety of food we grow, member benefits, shares sizes, special share options, discounts, and payment plans visit our CSA member page.
Thanks to our great members, we have filled the Spring shares for 2010.
Please consider signing on for Summer shares starting May 28th.
Pick-up or Delivery - CSA members can choose a free pick-up site or pay an additional fee for home delivery. We are currently working to identify pick up locations in Bloomington and Indianapolis. Does your nieghborhood have a concentration of folks who want delicious seasonal organic produce? Ask about becoming a pick up location! We are happy to add locations that fit in a sustainable and efficient delivery system.
We can also customize a LARGER THAN LARGE Size for you if you have a big veggie eating crew. (Great value! Just ask!) Each options includes all the extra farm activities.

We accept cash, checks, and plan to accept credit cards through PayPal. We decided to work with PayPal to take credit cards due to multiple requests. While we are happy to do so, know that it costs us 3% to do it for you...we would much rather you pay in cash. BUT, we most of all, want you as a member of our CSA!! We can work out a payment plan to be paid in full before the season starts and you should ask about our ‘early bird’ discounts.
